The NAVIVOILE catamaran welcomes school groups from kindergarten to high school for a turnkey, supervised and safe educational day departing from Canet-en-Roussillon or Port-Vendres.

In a unique setting, our vessel can accommodate up to 97 people for a sailing experience. Accompanied by our guide and the captain who lead each outing, students learn the basics of navigation, become familiar with nautical terminology, and discover the rich marine environment of the Catalan Coast for practical and lasting learning.

A flexible teaching resource for all school levels

The NAVIVOILE catamaran welcomes classes of all levels. Each outing is adapted to the age of the students and the teacher's educational project, offering a unique immersive experience in the Pyrénées-Orientales.

Starting from Canet-en-Roussillon or Port-Vendres , we transform navigation into a true open-air course, where safety and discovery are our absolute priorities.

Kindergarten and Primary School Classes

This is the perfect school trip by boat on the Catalan Coast . During a one- to two-hour sailing excursion, students discover the sea aboard a large sailing vessel. They observe the coastline, listen to the captain's stories, and experience their first real maritime adventure. We also make sure to discuss science, the environment, geography, and history.

The vessel is perfectly safe and suitable for young children. A covered area (awning) protects children from the sun, wind, and inclement weather, ensuring a peaceful outing for both students and accompanying adults.

Middle and High School Classes

For secondary school students, the field trip becomes an interdisciplinary teaching tool allowing them to explore several areas of expertise:

Science & Environment

Observation of the marine environment, coastal fauna, lagoon ecosystems and awareness ESD (Education for Sustainable Development) on the Natura 2000 site (Canet Pond).

Geography & History

Reading the coastline (Côte Radieuse and Côte Vermeille), discovering the fortresses and Collioure seen from the sea.

Physics & Navigation

How sails work, wind forces, nautical terms and principles of eco-friendly navigation.

Navivoile adapts to your class project. You choose the duration, the route, and the options according to your objectives:

• Commented sailing trip (duration can be adjusted from 1 hour to 5 hours or for the whole day depending on the cruise).
• Oniria Pack : Discover the Canet-en-Roussillon aquarium at a preferential rate.
• Stopover in Collioure : With a guided tour on a small tourist train.
• Naturalist Navigation: Bottlenose dolphin watching with a naturalist guide.
